We boarded in Baltimore and port was easy quick and we were ready for sailing. We were in cabin 8139. Surprised of the size of the cabin, larger than expected. Balcony was wonderful. The cabin out dated and needs some updates. T.V was an older model with the big backs and they charge as much for a movie as my home for a 52in flat screen with HD. Furniture very out dated. Two plugs for use and one was only for a shaver in bathroom. Their Muster drill was miserable and uninformative. They held us for 45mins and it was done in the heat with a loud speaker. Man in front of me was swaying back and forth from the heat. They closed the main pool during our cruise limiting the two other small pools they have on board.Oil, was spitting out of the Serenity pool area from the engine covering everything even us, so we left. The food was very good, but always had long lines and limited. Room service was ok but also limited to what you could order. We spent most of our cruise in our cabin. You either were drinking or eating with nothing much more to offer. They canceled shows, and activities due to the main pool closing for maintenance work and one comedian not making his plane. My husband and I have cruised in the past and enjoyed all that it had to offer, except this cruise.Deporting was miserable, do not check your luggage , because you will wait an extra two hours just to get off the ship. If you like to spend lots of money and hang with drunken people you will have fun on board this ship. The Stewart and crew were very good. They created a deck of animals made out of towels . That didn't cost a dime.As it stands we will not be going on another cruise using Carnival Pride.
