This was the first vacation my wife and i have taken in three years, our honeymoon. As well, we went without our 18 month old to spend time together. We were both extremely excited after hearing amazing thinga from my father, one previous trip on Oasis, and watching a documentary on Oasis. For us, embarkation was easy. We had a junior suite so the line was short and we were some of the first people on the ship. Walking on board was ao different than our previous cruise experience on Carnival Inspiration. Oasis is enormous. It is very clean and full of life. I do not know how full our ship was but it never felt crowded. We ate at windjammer. Day 1 was not a very good experience but the food improved as the week progressed. Room service was not bad and had a decent variety. Overall, the food was good. Chops and 150 are well worth the money if you choose to go. Our biggest complaint about the food was the eggs. Mostly powdered. A few places offered fresh eggs but dont order scrambled because they just give you the powdered stuff. If you drink, get a drink package. Premium is worth it. Ultimate is not. The solarium bar has drink specials. The other bars say they do but they do not. Pools and hot tubs are plentiful. So were the lounge chairs. We never had a problem finding a spot. For adults the solarium is an excellent quiter spot. If you smoke, there are limited options for you. The casino is your best bet because open or not they allow you to use the area to smoke. The service staff was excellent. Saw a wierd confrontation between a bartender and his boss. I guess he didnt like going to get more clean cups. Other than that it seemed like all staff were friendly and willing to help. Shore excursions are ok but the sea lion trip was cut short for some reason and we did not get to go to the beach even though we had time. CATS was ok. Not the right show for the venue. Too slow. Over 40% of the people left at intermission. The adult friendly shows were hilarious. Dazzles was a great music spot. The musician at the Globe pub was great. There were so many activities on board we could not keep up. One note..do not go to the raffle. Not worth it and basically an infomercial for buying diamonds. The aqua show was a great experience. We actually watched once in the audience and once on deck 15 looking down. The spa was ok. Massages were decent but we lost five minutes so they could try and sell us products. My wifes facial was good but really expensive. The behind the scenes tour was great. If you can, do it. The only other con was TV and phone messages left all the time to try and get ua to buy stuff. Overall, i would go again tomorrow. It was a great ship and we really enjoyed the experience.

Cabin Review

Amazing. Great room. We had a ton of room. The bed is ok. Great walk in closet with tons of hangers. Huge bathroom with full tub. Huge balcony with chairs and lounge chairs. Quiet area of the deck. Do hear a lot of noise on the balcony. As well, you can hear toilets flushing around the hall.
