We booked this cruise out of Tampa based on the ports and price. The itinerary was fantastic and we had a great time on board!

This cruise was a 7 night out of Tampa on Vision of the Seas visiting Roatan, Belize, Cozumel and Costa Maya. The ports were fabulous, the ship was great, the food fantastic, our cabin wasn't perfect. The cabin was orientated a little strange since the door was on the side instead of the end of the room. We do wish they would not even bother with squeezing the chair and small table in there as I had to crawl over the corner of the bed to get to my side. Otherwise the cabin was fairly standard with some storage and a good size closet. There weren't any shelves in the closet like our last cruise, but they did have an upper rod across the whole length of it and a lower rod across half. There are a few drawers, a cabinet and shelves in the room. The bathroom has no cabinets just the small counter and a lower shelf housing the trash can and extra toilet paper. I do bring a shoe holder for all toiletries and other small items which I hook over the bathroom door. This gives plenty of storage to keep the counters clear. The shower has a fantastic bar to rest your foot on while shaving so that I was grateful for, but the shower curtain kept sucking in even with the magnetic weights I had brought for the bottom.

My cabin complaint is this: Cabin 8063 is beside a blank space. I had really hoped it wouldn't be a problem however we realized that this area is where they wash dishes and such. So mid day is riddled with the sounds of carts being shoved around and a dish crashing sound right near the wall you share with your bed. Thankfully this doesn't go on for too long and it is the middle of the day, but we are nappers and so this did interrupt our trip. We were never affected by any noise in the evening, and never heard any noise from the pool above us.
