Negatives:- The huge hype surrounding the introduction of Brittania to the P&O fleet created an impression of a ship and experience so wonderful that it would be "wow" from beginning to end, sadly there is no "wow" at all.
For such a huge ship there is a feeling of very little space inside, the Atrium feels like sitting in a comfy seat in a shopping centre, no music, no dance floor, no ambience at all.
The Crows Nest though a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink and a view over the bow feels smaller,a piano plays sometimes,no bands,no dance floor.
Cabin was nice and very clean as one would expect from a new ship, comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, irritating lighting system, you cannot have the lighting set for one person wanting tom read and the other one sleep, its lots of light or no light,tv good with good selection of films, news etc, balcony just adequate, bathroom well appointed but stupidly tiny.
Embarkation was, as usual with P&O unless you are a pampered suite or Peninsular Club high tier member,a long, slow irritating pain.
A nice place for a stroll along the river and the Guggenheim is very inpressive.
A pleasant place for a stroll around the old part, mooring in the city is a bonus.
