Our first (and probably last) cruise was chosen in order to visit Alaska while we were staying in Vancouver.
We found the ship to be well appointed and in exceptional condition if not a little dated. The crew to be very helpful and efficient. Everyone worked very hard to make life on board as comfortable as possible.
Embarkation was a little military in style at Canada place, not sure how you might improve that though......at excursion points it was well managed but avoid the rush at the beginning. Dis-embarkation was well managed.
We booked a BB type as we were told all Vista suites had been sold. I need to check on the pricing but we ended up with an A type Vista. Not sure yet if I was overcharged but the crew assured us we had an upgrade. No reason to say they were wrong.
