Just finished a criise aboard MS Galileo.Had 40 passengers in total, a wondeful experience. It was very personal and the small vessel meant the ship tied up alongside the dock so it was easy to come and go whilst in port, no need for tenders we just walked down the gangway.Swim stops were great, the crew lowered steps down into the water and kayaks were available. We stoped anywhere it was safe to swim in the beautiful Aegean waters
Optional tours were available when in port.
Meals were wonderful with enough choices for all.The small number of guests made the atmosphere very friendly.
Only criticism was the smoking area was directly off the lounge dining area. The smoke went up the nearby spiral stairs to upper deck and occasionally back into the loung dining area. There were only 4 smokers out of 40 guests but they were constantly at the large outside dining table smoking so other guests avoided using the area which would been lovely to sit at if the smoking area was elsewhere
The sevice was first class. The cruise was good value
The cabin was on lowest accommodation deck was small but adequate. It had 2 large portholes for light. It was next to the stairs but that was not a problem. The bathroom was small. We only slept in the cabin so it was fine for our needs
