Our cruise was a trip of a lifetime. We had just one little blip. Our luggage did not arrive in time, but that was due to severe storms in Atlanta. We did take the next flight and arrived in Amsterdam just a few hours later than orinally planned. That was a Delta issue. Upon arriving in Amsterdam we were met by a Viking representative who bent over backwards to accomodate us. They offered to do our laundry free of charge until our suitcase arrived. They even provided a jacket and umbrella on one of the cooler excursions.

The accomodations were first class. Loved the heated bathroom floor. Crew was exceptional and we loved the food. You had a choice of eating in the dining room or on the deck. The message boxes enabled everyone to hear the tour guide without having to crowd around her. The tours were very educational and well done. You were divided into groups at your choosing for difficulty levels. You did not miss out on anything but walked at a leisurely pace.

Onboard entertainment included glass blowing demonstration, strudel making and entertainment. Passengers were mostly older, but there were some youg ones traveling with their granparents. Diembarkation was smooth. The crew did everything in their power to make sure we had a great time. Would definitely sail with Viking again!!

Cabin D

Cabin was just fine. Our cabin was always cleaned and ready for us. I think elves came and cleaned while we were at meals. Whenever, there was a used towel, it was immediately replaced by a clean one. Toiletries were replenished daily.
