This was our first cruise of any kind. Decided to try a river cruise since the boats are smaller and there are fewer people. Really enjoyed our time on the boat. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Meals were wonderful; it was fun to try out some new foods. Side excursions were educational. We liked looking out our windows and seeing barges and other vessels sailing by us. Also loved seeing the houses along the Seine. Our cabin was great. Such a luxury to have our bed made and turned down each day. Evening entertainment was enjoyable. Some negative stuff: noisy dining room, a bit too much free wine for guests, some guests were narrow-minded about learning new stuff.
