First Holkand cruise and first cruise of the season. Embarkation was a nightmare!!! No one would acknowledge our "Priority" boarding. Once we got up to get cruise cards we were escorted onto the ship as we upgraded a few days before we left to a Neptune Suite, we were on a wait list for one.

The ship is old world elegance, beautiful art throughout. A small ship, easy to get around. Loved the promenade walking deck. Loved the "day of the week" in the elevators. Loved the Neptune Lounge and the staff that oversees it are wonderful and so helpful. Great crew. Pinnacle Grill breakfast not so good, very slow unattentitive service, prefer other lines for this suite perk. People having breakfast in dining room were getting better service and food, we were told food comes from same place and since more people in dining room, we would get served once dining room was caught up- food always cold and only dined twice, walked out twice. Again, no service as we suite people all waited.

Not impressed with tholassapy pool or thermal suite, better on other lines. Covered pool was freezing, kids complaining. We had 2 gust chefs that were amazing and the cooking class was awesome!! Entertainment not up to par with other lines, but fine. The food and service was excellent. We were in SC7191, loved the bathroom! When curtain at window and balcony open neighbors can see in-no privacy in this room or on balcony, but large balcony and very nice deck furniture, great location and access to Neptune Lounge. We loved docking and going to Sitka. Great weather, crew and food. The age of cruisers were mainly older, but had a great relaxing time. Walking tour of Victoria through cruise line was excellent!!

Cabin Review

Neptune Deluxe Verandah Suite

Cabin SC

Location to Neptune lounge and center/aft elevators excellent. Loved the bathroom with only one door going in and out of bathroom, 2 sinks, lots of storage too, separate tub /shower and shower stall, shower stall small like Princess Grand class ships. Loved the large window and sliding door for viewing. Missed a curtain portion in the room. Liked the amount of storage in the 2 large closets and the makeup area. Lot of drawers and storage in the room. Nice cotton swabs in room. Fridge was stocked, not included in suite price. The bed(s) were very comfortable. Loved the patio furniture, wish Princess had this furniture in their full suites. We always had a lunch and dinner menu in the room, never had to ask for it. Liked our large curved sofa and coffee table. This room is next to hump balcony, so if window or patio curtains are open they can see in, no privacy on balcony either. Overall happy with the room, would not book again because of lack of privacy.
