Cabin: Vista Suite with Balcony

We stayed one night in Long Beach at the Hyatt Regency, not many restaurants around. Embarkation was great. We liked our cabin, Full suite C751, first time in this suite and room is identical to Penthouse Suites. Balcony was narrow and beam right outside bedroom door did obstruct view and too hard to go out as lounge chair in the way. We did have plenty of room to use the balcony dining table. The lounge chairs did not go back, but we're stationary, we didn't like that, but was to hard to climb around beams to get to other lounge chair. There is a beam out the living space as well, but wasn't an issue for us. Thought this room because of lack of balcony and lounge chair usage is overpriced. Really miss the bathroom in Full Suites, better storage in all other class of cabins.

We had wonderful staff. We had Brian and Rowena Vasquez as our Hawaiian Ambassadors and definitely are our favorite! Learned so much and so much fun learning Ukelele from Brian. Appreciated learning "authentic" hula from Rowena. Both are so nice to be around, we hope to sail with them again, our first of 3 cruises with them. Brian is so talented and loved hearing his Santana style on the Uke as well.

The seas were rough-again and weather was not great until day before getting to the islands, this was expected and with lots to onboard we did not miss being outside. Pools were on the cool side. We loved the "beach break excursions" offered by Princess on Honolulu and Maui, highly recommend. Remember Waikiki beach in Honolulu is all non-smoking! The food, service and entertainment was excellent everywhere on the ship. Another great Princess cruise!

Cabin Review

Vista Suite with Balcony

Cabin S6

First time in this Vista Suite C751, loved the location, mid-ship aft. The balcony is very narrow with 2 large beams, one just outside obstructing view from the bedroom and the other outside of the living room, not as bad. 2 lounge chairs that do not recline at all, fixed to not recline, one was too hard to get to with the beam and we are small people. Used the table and chairs on balcony a lot. Mostly covered balcony. Only counter storage around the sink that is not as large as other rooms, but same as other Full Suites. With rough seas do not like all of the doors going in and out of the bathroom(3 doors), 2 enter from the bedroom. Storage space is spread out in the Caribe Vista Suites. We had water problems most nights so we're not able to use jacuzzi tub this cruise. rhe inside of the room does have the desk and space of Penthouse suites, balcony and balcony furniture miss the mark in this Vista Suite and that is why I give it low marks for value.
