Overall, it was a great cruise. The ship is clean and well maintained. The crew was very good. The food was just so-so. The Cadillac Diner was horrible. Cagney's was very good. La Cucina was OK. Teppanyaki was very good. Jefferson's Bistro was horrible. Moderno was OK. The salad bar in Moderno was excellent. Aloha Cafe was very good. We never ate in the Main Dining Room. Royal Caribbean's specialty restaurants and entertainment beat NCL. The excursions were great. We did Haleakala Crater, Best of Maui, Circle of Fire helicopter, Pearl Harbor and USS Missouri, and Waimea Canyon. Recommend them all. The ship's itinerary was changed to avoid a hurricane. Changes to excursions, etc. was handled beautifully by the ship. No inconveniences at all. Gary should be the Cruise Director. He was the only one who made you feel special, or that you were part of a larger group. Funny guy and super nice. Royal Caribbean goes all out to get you going. The "washy washy" crew at Aloha Cafe were creepy. Hand sanitizer in some old spray bottle? Hard to avoid them to get to the Purell stand. One commented that we were avoiding "human interaction". No, we were avoiding him and his creepy "washy washy". The iConcierge on the iPhone did not link up our previous reservations and excursions. Did not use it to make reservations. It needs improvement. Definitely recommend this cruise to see and get the most out of Hawaii.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony
Cabin B6 9520
The cabin was clean and there was plenty of storage. We had the mini bar cleared out so we could stock the fridge with water. There is a coffee maker in the stateroom. The balcony is huge, but cavernous and has a bad echo.
