This was a fabulous cruise on a beautiful ship. The entertainment, including the shows and music throughout the ship was the best we've found on cruises and our cruise director (Dan/Dan?) was funny and did a great job keeping the crowd happy. We had a great balcony cabin on deck 7 which was very comfortable and clean. There was no in-room coffee pot but each morning we had complimentary coffee delivered. Our room steward (Frank Sandoval) did an excellent job and provided us with fresh ice and glasses twice a day.
In the main dining room and Giovanni's (specialty restaurant), we found the selection, quality of the food and the attentive service to be outstanding. We prefer not to dine in the Windjammer Buffet, but the few times we dined there we were VERY satisfied with the service and most of the food but dining with such a large crowd was, for us, not very enjoyable. As mentioned the food was wonderful, but the bread (yes the bread) was the primary cause of me gaining 7 lbs. because I enjoyed the variation of bread offered each morning and evening. Also, desserts in the main dining room and Giovanni's should not be missed.
The public areas on the ship are beautiful and kept very clean and the adult pool and surrounding areas were areas to relax and enjoy the scenery. Every public area including the many bars, lounges, theaters and even the lavatories were kept clean and maintained.
