This was our second cruise, last year was an all inclusive with Island Cruises. When I booked I was given the option of 2 out of the following for free: ultimate dining package, ultimate beverage package, 200 dollar on board spend per cabin (we had 2 cabins).
We are so glad we went for the ultimate dining package. It meant we escaped the hoards in the buffet restaurant which was so noisy. You get to dine in the speciality restaurants which normally have either a 20 or 30 dollar charge per person (food only, drinks are extra). We also had the 200 dollar spend which covered our drinks and gifts for us from the duty free shop and a manicure in the spa.
There were far too many people on board with lots of unsupervised children running around and blocking corridors. That is something we would never have allowed our children to do when they were younger. We overheard some people comment on the same thing for the previous week as they were on the ship for 2 weeks.
Very good, lots of storage space. Fresh flannels every day, fresh towels everyday if required, pool towels provided, decent hair dryer although heavy.
We spent 2 days here before boarding the boat. Very interesting but crowded. Stayed at Hotel Columbina a few minutes walk from San Marco which was lovely. Arrived by taxi boat just like James Bond from airport costing 120 euros
Too many people, spoilt by thunderstorms.
Pleasant, quieter than Dubrovnik, and prices better as well
