Day 1. Arrived at room and beds were not made, no towels. Talked to front desk said that they would get it resolved within the hour--4.5 hours later they did. However, still no soap, shampoo. Unbelievable! Second day, same thing occurred. I stopped keeping tabs on this. Finally met cabin steward on the 3rd day. Unacceptable.
The ship was booked to capacity, The Ice Cream machine constantly broke down. They had two machines--one working and the other wrapped in shrink wrap. When I asked the Hotel Manager why only one machine was used, I was told that the wrapped machine was a spare--well wouldn't that be a wonderful time to unwrap it and start it up. In addition, the ice machines were constantly out. The casual restaurants were understaffed--always had food dishes/stations in need of refilling.
This was my 4th RC cruise--3rd from Baltimore. I have done 8 other cruises since 2011--all were great. Most of my cruises were Disney and they by far were the best--but then that's Disney, the leaders in the hospitality business. ROYAL CARRIBEAN should learn a lesson.
OK other than lack of service attention
