Traveled with children

My husband and I have cruised, but never on NCL. We decided to bring our two grandchildren, ages 6 and 11. We stayed at the Westin in Seattle the night prior to embarkation, thought it was quite nice.

On Saturday, August 15, 2015, we had time for a trip to the Aquarium and back to the hotel before we caught a cab to the Jewel. We were on our way to Alaska.

We booked a 2 bedroom Family Suite in the Haven. The room was very clean, comfortable and the children could not wait to get to the pool. The Haven pool was quite small, but as they were the only people in it, it was great. We had a very attentive butler, Ronald. He always greeted each of us by name, and made certain that we had enough "snacks" that we never went hungry. Our steward, Don, was so incredibly nice. The Haven Valet, Jon Jon, won my vote for hardest working. He was so very accommodating, even as people were rude and demeaning.
