This cruise exceeded my expectations. The ship was elegant and beautiful--loved the way nature was incorporated in the decoration. The staff were friendly as well as helpful. The various types of music and food venues were most enjoyable. I particularly liked the quiet nooks with books and comfortable seating, but I would have enjoyed having a selection of books about the countries and ports we were visiting. However, I thought the lectures about the various ports and related topics were educational, entertaining and well presented. Having the talks recorded to view and listen to at another time was also a good idea. I took advantage of them when there was a conflict with attending the presentation in person. My daughter loved the spa.

Although our luggage did not arrive when we did, Viking personnel could not have been more patient and helpful. She went with us to file a report with the authorities before we left the airport, and when we returned from dinner on the ship, our luggage was waiting for us without us having to do anything else. Thank you so much.

I was glad there were no young children on the cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse Veranda 1

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Loved the veranda and having a room next to the Captain's cabin. He and his wife were both lovely people. I felt like they were friends by the end of the cruise.
