A Lot has been written about this ship, and I will try to be brief. The cabins are nice but balconies are too small. We had our son and family in next cabin, so had divider open, and it was difficult to move with four loungers, two tables and four adults (not counting the two grandkids). Cabins well cleaned though, and good choice of films etc on tv.
Food good, but choice in buffet lacking. Beachhouse restaurant (part of the buffet hived off for the evening) was great and food lovely, but there was a cover charge, than additional charges for some choices, so two cover charges which was excessive. Other restaurants all worth a try but cover charges apply.
Entertainment was very lacking, with Brodies bar too small to accommodate all who wanted to have a go at the quizes (no where near enough of these) and the live lounge had Pulse, who were good, but only played 45 mins at a time then stopped, and out came the taped music for 30 mins then they came on for another 45 mins then that was it (must have a great union rep). Some of the guest entertainers should have been on at the theatre not the live lounge as the seating was lacking.
We took the P & O shuttle and then did our own thing walking around the marina. Very good
Tender service went smoothly. We did our own thing and walked to the Casino. Had lunch in a side street, very good food and service and not as expensive as you would have thought
We could not face another long coach trip to Rome and therefore took the shuttle bus into town and had a walk around. Market very good. Toilets at beach area awful.
