As there was no other choice, and I needed the shirt for dinner that night, we arranged for someone to collect the shirt from us and return it in 20 minutes (they said they could do this on the phone)

30 minutes later, we had to leave for dinner and no one had called for the shirt.He very kindly arranged for us to have dinner in one of the restaurants on the ship and when we returned to our cabin, there was a nice bottle of wine waiting for us.
