I just sailed with Carnival Glory 08/22/15 thru 08/29/15 and I am truly disappointed. The food was horrible. We were originally scheduled to do the Eastern Caribbean cruise. But due to a storm they changed the entire itinerary to a Western Caribbean cruise. I received an email at 8 p.m. the night before we were scheduled to sail. Now the places that they changed to were places that I really was not interested in seeing. We were not given the option to cancel and re-book a cruise. Basically what Carnival said was you paid for one cruise but we are gonna send you to where we want you to go and you pay for it. Some how someone thought that a $30 ship credit was sufficient for this. Meaning they gave me $15 and my husband $15. And we all know $30 does not go far on this shop. Then I was sick for two days from a pork burrito that I ate from the from the ships burrito bar and my husband also got sick from eating a fish taco. And I know of others that were sick as well from eating at the burrito bar. The quality of service has gone down from the last cruise I took with Carnival. Not to mention the drinks are too expensive. My husband purchased a shot and a strawberry daiquiri and was charged $21. Also on deck 10 in the smoking section we saw bugs and this is by the kitchen. Took pictures of the bugs I could not tell what the bugs were and went down to the customer service to speak with someone and acted like it was nothing. I did not pay money to get sick from the food nor did I pay money to bring any bugs back home with me. Then they ration out the food. Everything closes up early except the deli area. I do not want to eat a deli sandwich every night for 7 days because Carnival chooses to close the eating area. Not to mention when you come down for breakfast after 10 am forget it you will not eat. The staff will tell you they are closed and to go to another place and when you get to that serving area they also tell you they are closed. Guess what you will not eat breakfast that day. It's just sad how this company has cut so many corners trying to save a dime. This experience has really made me think twice about booking another cruise with Carnival. Me and my family will take our money else where.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4H

The cabin is a basic room with no windows. If you are not gonna be in your room than this cabin will do for you. It's small and to be honest it's for one person not two.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

The locals in my opinion will make a person turn around and get back on the boat with the begging. And once again you are told if you go to far there's a chance that you could be robbed.

Roatan

Was not impressed. Once again the locals will get on your nerves with the begging. Then you are told that you can only go so far because the locals will rob you. If carnival knows this why do you keep taking boat loads of people to this port with the potential of knowing that they could be robbed.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

This port was nice my only issue is the locals beg to much. For what ever reason they think that Americans are walking banks. They raise the prices on everything. You would be better off shopping at home.
