We have been taking Cruise holidays over the last 10 years starting with Ocean Village and then Thomson's. This year we decided to take what we thought was a step up in class and chose The Anthem of the Seas with Royal Caribbean. To be perfectly frank we were disappointed. We enjoyed the holiday overall but really didn't feel that this ship ticked all the boxes. We spoke to several seasoned Royal Caribbean travellers who all agreed but insisted that we should not be put off RC by this first impression. Every RC customer we spoke to all said this ship did not measure up to the Independence of the Seas. Our reasons are as follows:

Staff to Passenger ratio is low creating service issues

Dynamic Dining not to everyone's liking
