We are from Philadelphia. My husband and I traveled with our 2 teenaged daughters. This was our first trip to Europe, and we chose a cruise in order to see as much as possible in our 11-day vacation. We started our trip with a few nights in Barcelona, then boarded the Epic for a 7-day cruise to ports in Italy, France, and Spain.

With a different port nearly everyday, it was a lot like being on a floating hotel. We actually didn't partake of many of the shipboard activities. We were busy it ports all day and tired by night. So a good meal and a glass of wine was all we really wanted.

The ship was well designed and very clean and comfortable. The beds were luxurious and we slept very well. We enjoyed the balcony where we could have coffee or drinks and watch as we traveled the beautiful coastline. The house and wait staff were all excellent. Very attentive.
