My maiden voyage cruise began in melbourne. Out into port philip bay passing the lighthouses and out into the rough bass straight. Next day arrived in burnie. Took the shuttle bus and walk around a bit and headed back to enjoy the cruise ship. Day 3 i woke up to wineglass bay. And the cruise gradually followed the beautiful east coast of tasmania before arriving at hobart. Day 4 walked around hobart and returned to enjoy the cruise ship. Day 5 arrived at port arthur. My first tender boat ride to shore. You get a free history lesson here. Flowers in the gardens were quite pretty went back to the cruise ship. The sky cleared up for the first time as we lefy and then came the best scenery of the cruise as we passed cape pillar. This has to be one of the great wonders of the world. Pity the boat had to go out to sea. Day 6 my first sea day with some island scenery in the morning. Unfortunately day 7 came and it was time to go. Great band with epithani. Great food.

Cabin Review

Oceanview

Cabin OF

Cabin is small but that to be expected. The bathroom is the smallest i ever seen. I only use the cabin to sleep & go to the bathroom. I spent most of my time relaxing & having fun elsewhere on the ship

Port Reviews

Melbourne

Maiden voyage departed here. The only scenery i could see was on the shuttle bus and at port. A very gray looking concrete jungle. Needs more greenery. The only downside was the disembarkment with a long wait at the airport. I wish a tour was offered to fill in the time before i flew back home

Burnie

Makers workshop quite interesting. Art gallery was quite good despite being small

Hobart

Salamanca square is interesting. Art gallery & museum was quite good. Battery point is a good place to take a selfie in front of your ship

Sydney (Australia)

Sydney harbour is absolutely stunning. The best city i have visited in australia

Dunedin

You arrive in port chalmers. The day i arrived was foggy & damp. I enjoyed walking around port chalmers cloud forests. Dunedin seemed a bit outdate. The shuttle bus between the places is a rip off!

Wellington

The best city in new zealand. Beautiful gardens, fantastic rainforests, excellent lookouts, te papa is quite interesting, weta cave is quite wacky. So much to see & do here. This city is awesome!!!!

Auckland

This place is huge. Would have love to get to the rainforest & piha but the tourist information centres said it was impossible unless you have your own transport. So instead i walked around found 2 pirate bars, a great lookout at mt eden, beautiful flowers in the begonia house and the rose garden was quite pretty too. Had to skip the museum when i found out it was $25 to enter. Yet it was free for kiwis to enter. Go figure!
