A little background: my husband and I are in our 40's and have taken about 20 cruises together. These have been almost evenly split between Princess, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean, with one wonderful splurge on Radisson Seven Seas (now Regent Seven Seas.) Our priorities are food and service, and onboard activities and facilities are of lesser importance to us. Celebrity is our favorite mainstream line, but we have enjoyed great cruises on the other lines, as well.

My DH surprised me with this cruise as a Christmas present. We were very happy to find that there was a very active CruiseCritic.com Roll Call established, and we hopped right on! As always, we met some great people at our Roll Call gathering, and we enjoyed spending time with many of them throughout the cruise.

I have found these reviews so helpful in the past, and I appreciate details. If you are of like mind, read on. I have written a VERY LONG review this time. If you prefer a brief summary, I apologize that I have been so verbose!

Great midship location, large balcony with great views, surprisingly quiet in spite of location near elevators.
