This was our first cruise with p&o, we decided on the canaries as tenerife is were we had our honeymoon, and wanted to go back in style.

Embarkation was very good we arrived by coach at 1.45pm and were on Ventura by 2.30pm the whole process of passport control was excellent it was very well organised.

After boarding the ship we went to our cabin but had to walk up 7 flights of stairs as the lifts were all full and large queues waiting for them, our cabin was on lido deck 15, and had a balcony (which we requested), the cabin was very tidy and clean although i thought really small there was no sitting area only one chair at the dressing table, the bathroom again is very small. The interactive tv only showed the news channels and sports channel other than that you had to go to the movies which were plentiful and free.

Port Reviews

Las Palmas (Gran Canaria)

we went ashore on our own beautiful place

Madeira (Funchal)

what a beautifull island, we left the ship and waled into the town you could always see the ship were ever you went, shopping prices were great.

Vigo

Again another small town but and amazing array of beatiful streets and buildings, again a short stroll from the ship.

Southampton

embarkation was very good
