When I plan a vacation I invest a lot of time and effort.. I look at reviews I research prices. This time was not different.. I knew this was an older ship, I knew we would overnight in Nassau. I have booked cruises on other carriers on ships just as old or older.

The safety procedures.. which I have done on the 5 other cruises I have been on was weird.. we were taken to the night club (our muster station) and the British crew member refused to talk until it was complete silence.. if someone shifted in their seat or coughed or a baby whimpered she stopped and started all over again. She continually threatened us that she had no problem doing it all over again to punish us for not paying attention!! REALLY?? was she kidding? then when they finally deemed us quiet enough they showed us the procedures with the life vests... since there is no video screen and she was the only one with the mike... if you were in the back of the room you couldn't hear or see anything. so really shutting us up and threatening to re do it was completely futile since half the people couldn't see the exercise!

This ship was disappointing to say the least. The food was awful. The choices in the dining room were poor. One option for vegans.. Indian Rice and Lentils.. Seriously??? thats all you can come up with ? For the vegetarians.. there is fish.. fish that was stinky and overcooked. The cutlery was tarnished (blackened) the glasses had lipstick stains, the servers barely able to communicate in English. It was a challenge to have dinner. By the 3rd night I was exhausted just trying to explain what I wanted!!! HELLO ROSETTA STONE!!!
