While we still had a great vacation, this cruise was a disappointment on many levels. We don't care if the ship is not the latest will all the frills. We expect good food, relaxation and a decent cabins. We usually choose the cruise based on the ports of call.
To start with embarkation, why are we given the option to arrive at 11am, when NCL starts the embarkation process at noon? We are left waiting for an hour in a cavernous hall, lots of people, not enough chairs.
Our cabin was OK, lots of storage space. We did not spend a lot of time there. The cabin steward did an OK job, the cabin was cleaned once a day, usually after 4 pm. He came back later to put a "towel animal" on the bed. He also did not crack a smile all week.
Cabin was fine, the bed was very comfortable and there was lots of storage space
