Traveled solo for this one. Enjoyed the fact that we were the only ship in every port we went to. The Boston Concert was outstanding. Lasted a good 2 hours. While the ship was rusting in some areas around doorways, the service from the crew was everything I have come to expect from Carnival. The only exception was the Breakfast and Brunch in the Celebration dining room. It seemed once they delivered your order they forgot about you. Had to always ask to get more water. Totally not even close to the service in the Jubilee dining room.

The Port of Charleston is one of the more unfriendly ports I have been to. While the parking was free at the port because they do not charge any fees for those with handicap parking stickers or hangers, it took forever to get parked. Once in line to check-in at the terminal they were handicap unfriendly unless you required a wheelchair, otherwise if you had a cane or walker, you waited in line like the rest of the passengers.

The dining room waiter I Komar was one of the best. After the first day he knew everything before I even could say it. He made the right suggestions for all my meals. He kept the entire table entertained. He was terrific. Joseph kept the stateroom completely clean and had the towel animals made every day.

Cabin Review

Porthole

Cabin PT

Considering the sizes of most Interior/Oceanview cabins, this was a huge cabin. I would say that this cabin compared to the 220+ sq foot cabins on the newer ships. The mattresses though are very thin. Caused back pain every morning. The water in the shower was nice and hot.

Half Moon Cay

Just laid on the beach for a few hours. Very relaxing. The cookout was a nice touch.
