Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

My partner and I prefer small ships but given the itinerary thought we would give this company a go.

The ship was clean but unfortunately had to wait four hours and numerous calls for our cabin bed to be made up.

The food in the restaurant was average but a wide choice was available in the huge buffet area on deck 15. If you were able to push and fight your way to the particular food stations like other people then you would be fine. Good luck finding a table at busy times as well.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

Clean and very nice. Smaller than some other lines but nice to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by.

Port Reviews

Venice

Very busy but go down the side lanes and discover the real Venice. So many fantastic buildings, churches and bridges. Food was expensive but look away from the tourist areas.

Katakolon (Olympia)

We stayed on the ship as nothing in the port area and had both been to Olympia before.

Izmir

Explore to old town as just a short walk from where the ship docks. Historic tour maps were being handed out on the dock.

Istanbul

Very hot and busy but get out and explore. Get the tram a short walk from the port to the historic area. So much to see and not that much time.

Dubrovnik

Get the local bus to the historic part of town. It can be busy but the wall walk is well worth it. Again, we wish we had more time.
