3 years ago we did Budapest to Amsterdam and enjoyed, this year we did the reverse and would recommend doing our first option.
The hotel and cruise director great.
The Opal is a new ship and very nice. The only fault we had was at the buffet, breakfast and lunch, the food was not hot or warm.
