Our ninth cruise on HAL, our first on Ryndam, we were a couple from Holland, both in our early fifties.

Although she will leave the fleet later this year, she is still being taken care of, with a great and enthusiastic crew. Earlier reports mentioned the missing tender, this is still the same, I think it is not because of the tender, but due to a defective launching equipment (do not know the proper English term). Since there are plenty of lifeboats, not an issue, although a bit of a nuisance during tendering, which was slightly longer than normal in some cases, but handled very wel, circumstances considering (relocation of anchoring position due to changing winds in Heamaey).

Travelled to Harwich by ferry, arriving just before Ryndam did, a small hop-over.
