I went on this cruise with some friends who had organised the trip, I decided to read the reviews before I went, lots of them weren't very good and at that point I can't say I was particularly looking forward to being on the ship - we were doing two overnight journeys to and from Grand Bahamas so weren't going to be on too long so I was preparing myself to grin and bare it!

Actually on the ship I was more than pleasantly surprised- it's a lovely ship, nothing too luxurious and a little dated but it was much better than I was expecting. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and although not huge for four adults it was fit for purpose - we only needed the rooms to sleep in, get ready and keep our stuff in.

The communal areas were all ok and kept clean and tidy and the buffet restaurant was great with a good selection of food which was replenished regularly to keep it fresh. The bars were good and most of the staff we came across were generally very nice. Read more
