My husband and I had not previously cruised with MSC.

Despite reading some rather mixed/ negative reviews of the company, because of the fantastic itinerary and even having already visited some destinations , we decided to go ahead as we wanted to visit Istanbul.

It began with a 2 day stopover in a hotel in Maestre, - a 20 minute bus ride, regular bus service to and from Venice . As we already had visited Venice twice we were able to see out if the way place, and really set our own pace. We spent most of one day on Murano Island.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

The cabin as already described was excellent. It was roomy and very comfortable. It was close to an exit for an elevator but was quiet.

Having a balcony made a huge difference to us.

There was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. We asked for extra clothes hangers.

Basic toiletries were provided but we had already brought our own.

An adequate flat screen TV with 2 English news channels is in situ.

The bed is large and very comfortable.
