The ship it's self is emaculate and beautiful but the entertainment is terrible and leaves you bored to tears. The bar staff are extremely rude and it is a chore for them to serve you. The cleaners on the ship are very friendly and helpful. We had 4 nights of no sleep due to the staff slamming the cupboard door onto our cabin. It took 4 nights for them to do anything about it so we were extremely tired which spoilt most of our holiday. We were also promised a better cabin this year as it was our second cruise with them. The cabin was exactly the same as last year. We shall never book with msc again after this cruise
The shuttle bus to the cities were reliable and transport from the airport to the ship were very good. The entertainment on board was terrible it was the same night after night and was aimed at elderly people.
Disembarkment was run very good and our bags were there straight away when we got off. There was a bus waiting for us and we only had to wait five minutes then it took us straight to the airport.
Cabin Review
Interior Stateroom
Very small cabin but very clean. Extremely comfy bed. The cabin was kept very clean and there were always fresh towels available.
Port Reviews
Barcelona
We waited roughly one and a half hours in the port before we embarked. The port had plenty of seats and a Couple of shops.
We were bombarded by msc staff when we entered the port trying to sell us drink packages. When we sat waiting it carried on with staff trying to sell massages, excursions etc. We were glad to get on the ship away from them.
Naples
This was our second visit to naples so we knew that the ship docked very near to the city centre so we walked around the city
Taormina (Messina)
Nice place but not much to do. Views from the church at the top were worth seeing
