We were on the 14 night 26th July sailing – Spain and Med beaches – and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
We travelled down from North Wales with Eavesway coaches and we were impressed with the service. We arrived at the port around 1:40pm and we were in our stateroom by 2:00pm. I was pleased with the speed and efficiency of the Southampton terminal staff.
Negatives: For us there were very few negatives, so I’ll get them over first!
Our room 6316 was a hump balcony on the starboard side. Our room attendant, Irwin, was excellent, very friendly and complied with all our requests. Room was quite clean, even the tops of cupboards had been dusted. Two good chairs on the balcony with a high height table, ideal for breakfast on the balcony. I had been worried about the closed balconies on deck 6 after reading about them on Cruise Critic but because of the chairs I found it was a better view than I had previously on Liberty with a glass balcony. I was also pleased by the size of the safe, again better than Liberty, I didn’t have to put my Ipad2 in at an angle!
Lovely town.
A surprise! Really enjoyed our visit.
Another excellent visit to a lovely place. Nice to see it in the dark due to a later departure time.
Great views from the castle.
The citadel is free to enter and houses museums and a lovely garden.
Probably the least inspiring place on our cruise but a pleasant walk!
