This was our 4 cruise with Royal Caribean and although we had a fantastic holiday this ship has some teething problems and has definitely lost the party atmosphere as with other Royal Caribean ships we have sailed on. My biggest negative is the lack of atmosphere on the ship no set sail parties and the Royal Promenade is just full of shops with nothing going on. Up on the pool deck there is defiantly a lack of staff, if you wait for a pool attendant to serve you drinks you will be waiting a loNg time. Most of the time the pool bar had only 2-3 staff working and due to the size of ship it would take a while to get a drink. The dynamic dinning has been our least favourite of dinning options with most of the restaurants being booked up 6 months in advance so unless you wanted a table at 6pm or after 9pm its a struggle. The food at the Grande and Silk were by far the best and of course the Windjammer always has a great variety of food. We ate at Jamie,s Italian one night and the food was excellent only negative point some friends of ours also booked the same evening and were offered a 30% discount as the restaurant was not full. We travelled with 2 children aged 10 and 14 who had a ball they loved all the activies. Only negative the teenagers would use the swimming pool late at night with no supervision and we were very surprised there was no accidents with events getting out of hand. There are no set formal nights just 3 dress your best, which entailed ladies being dressed in full lengt ball gowns, men's in DJ to people dressed in shorts and flip flops all sat in same restuarante. Although this review may seem negative we had a fantastic holiday just different experience to our other Royal Caribean ships.
