My husband, 5-year-old son and I have just returned from 2 weeks on Anthem and I felt compelled to write a review after reading some of the utterly ridiculous reviews on here.

Firstly, there is not "only one outdoor pool". There is one on an entirely open deck and one with a glass roof which is opened when the weather is nice. No, the pools aren't huge but if you are looking for a holiday where you sit by the pool all day, your money is better spent on a villa in Spain. I did manage to get a sun bed whenever I tried. People to get up early to reserve sun beds but if you speak to a pool attendant, they will remove towels from reserved beds.

As for my fellow reviewers claiming that the ship felt over-crowded, I can only assume that they have never been to large hotel/resort. Yes, there were a lot of people but no, we didn't struggle to get a reservation in any of the restaurants or tickets to see the shows, or indeed, a table in one of the many bars - it would be a lot busier on any night in Central London.
