This was our first cruise with Norweigan. I had read so many reviews, many of them negative, that I was a little nervous by the time it came to cruise.
We drove from North Carolina to the port. We stopped in West Palm Beach and spent the night before we boarded. We stayed in a very nice Marriott and had an easy one hour drive the morning of embarkation.
We wanted to get a Vibe cabana so we got to the port rather early, about 9:30. We parked at the port after reading about parking nightmares other places and wanted the convenience of being close. We were given group one boarding and were told it would be about 11:30 before boarding began. The boarding process is the only negative about this whole group. Without an announcement, a worker started to allow those that needed special assistance to begin boarding. Everyone else thought this was the cue to go and rushed towards the doors. The poor little guy working was able to keep people at bay, barely, but struggled when the announcement to board groups 1-2 was made. People with groups as high as 13 were trying to get on board with the first group. The guy tried to say no but people just gave them their ticket and kept on walking. Pretty chaotic and not sure if that is the norm or not.
Cabin had lots of storage. Balcony wasn't huge but had room enough for 2 to sit comfortably. Bathroom was organized well and I felt like the shower was bigger than other ships.
Port was easy to access.
