We just returned home from another fabulous cruise. We stayed 9 days in PR and then hopped on the Liberty. The ship is absolutely gorgeous! It's identical to the Freedom, but I think it's a bit classier. It was well maintained and very clean. We always stay on Empress deck, and this time opted for a suite. From our location near the elevators we could hear the music every night loud and clear, as though it was playing right outside our door. We always try to select rooms near the elevators as it's so convenient, but usually mid or aft, and I probably won't select this location again.

The steakhouse and MDR food were delicious as was Guy's and Blue Iguana. We had breakfast burritos and tacos almost daily and they are extremely filling.

My only complaint is the lunch options in the afternoon when everyone is boarding the ship around 3 pm. The buffet closes at 2:30, so when most people are coming back onboard, the only options are the Mongolian Wok, pizza or deli, which all have ridiculously long lines. They really should keep the buffet open later for lunch.

Ocean Suite

Cabin OS

Our room was spacious and comfortable but this location is awful. The music and trivia, etc taking place in the lobby (which is pretty much ALL afternoon and evening) travels up and directly though the door. I think because it's open space in front of the glass elevators, which are directly in front of our room. A suite a few doors away in either direction would be a better choice. It was very loudly heard in our stateroom nightly. We spent most of our time on the balcony, but HAD we wanted to go to bed early or take a nap after a long day in port, forget about it! We travel with a small white noise machine and would turn it on at bedtime and it would drown out the noise completely.

There are two outlets, one on the desk and one in the vanity area and a ton of storage space. Lots of drawers, two closets and plenty of counter space.
