I used this website more than anything during booking our cruise. I was very stuck between going with Royal or Carnival and I am so glad I went with Royal! We also chose this cruise because of the itinerary: 5 islands in 7 days. This was a very busy itinerary and cruise with little sleep, but we wouldn't have had it any other way!
We stayed the previous night in San Juan (I was actually there a few days prior) so I had rented a car from Charlie Rent A Car, which allowed me to rent it at the airport (shuttle) and drop it off near the cruise ship (shuttle will take you to cruise port). It was cheap and gave us time to explore and avoid taxi costs.
Embarkation: Our boat was not setting sail until 8 pm, but we returned our car at 10:30 am and got the shuttle from the rental place over to the cruise port. We got there at about 11 am and it was the perfect timing. We gave them out luggage and got into a short line (maybe 60 deep). Right after we arrived the lines started to get longer. We had to check in and were allowed on the boat at 11:30 am. We were not allowed into our rooms until 2 pm, but it gave us time to get lunch and walk around the whole boat and explore.

Interior Stateroom
We decided to book an interior room because we did not plan on being in the room and paying the higher price for a larger room and window. The room was actually bigger than I thought it would be and worked well for sleeping/showering/changing. It was positioned in the middle of the boat which I liked so we could pick either elevator.

Old San Juan is a very pretty town to walk around. we took the free trolley around to see the forts.

Took a local tour we booked at the port. Great way to see all over the island!
Antigua
Jolly Roger Beach! The most gorgeous beach and water I have ever seen!!!
