My wife and I are in our early 60's and we wanted to try something different. There's so much to say about this experience, so I'll try to summarise:

** Checking in **

The customs and checking-in procedure at the cruise terminal in Venice was run very smoothly and efficiently, given that there were 3000 passengers to get on board within a few hours. We were approached by several MSC staff who were selling drinks and tour packages to a captive audience. But more of this later.
