This is our first experience of Royal Caribbean cruising having only participated in a 'cheaper' class of cruising in the past. We are a family of 5 - 2 adults, 1 teen, 5 and 7 year old and I can say that each and every one of us had the best holiday on the Anthem.
I was dubious about embarking from reading previous comments. We arrived at Southampton Port terminal 15-20mins before our allocated time and got straight through, had our passports and sea passes checked and we were onboard the ship at the start of our arrival time. Hassle free!!
We were greeted by friendly welcoming staff to which we received throughout the holiday, never did we see any member of the RC crew without a smile on their faces.
The cabin was extemely clean, decorated lovely and very roomy I was worried with all the baggage we wouldnt be able to get everything in but no problem at all. The balcony was a good size even with 2 chairs and a table still plenty of walking round room. Bathroom was sufficient had quite a big corner shower and units to store things. Our stateroom attend was amazing! He remembered all our names and took time to speak to us every day.
Able to get a shuttle bus into the town centre quite cheap and walk round yourself if you dont wish to go see the monkeys!
Beautiful city easy to walk from the port into the old town and even beach area. Definitely recommend a visit.
This is my most favourite place in Europe. I love Mallorca! The cathedral is a must to visit and the shopping in Palma is great too! Lots of different places to explore on the island to take note before arrival and plan your time well. It can take an hour to get to the other end of the island and therefore may take alot of your day travelling!
Stunning Island. Ibiza town is just amazing! Shuttle bus only took 5 mins and we were able to walk around at our leisure. Determinately return here.
Lovely stop but far too warm whilst we were there so unable to explore as we would have liked. Will return again.
