Unfortunately we never anticipated the huge numbers of bored and badly behaved children that would prove to be the downfall of this cruise. We had decided that this was not a child friendly itinerary and how right we were. Unfortunately many parents just used the ship as one enormous playground for their unruly offspring who insisted on displaying their athleticism and vocal strengths on dance floors, corridors, stairwells and at the back of the theatre whilst shows were in progress.

The Cruise Director Staff were totally unable and unwilling to deal with this problem, in fact a couple of the cruise staff admitted they were actually quite apprehensive about doing anything about it in case they were reported by the offenders and that would go against their record. How absurd!

We struggled to find quiet areas without either music blaring ( why is it the cruise staff think we are all deaf?) or children yelling and screaming.
