This was our 6th cruise (3rd with our 2 boys) and we really enjoyed our holiday although the weather was not the best :-) Firstly, we are very impressed with the décor of the ship which is very sophisticated and contemporary and this further extended to our larger inside cabin which has been the best of any cruise ship we have been on. The shows were fabulous and with a one-night only policy for the entertainers resulted in a great variety every night. The activities and excursions were a little on the pricey side but this was made up for by the complimentary transport available into the major cities that again was better than the 4 other cruise lines we have cruised with in the past. The kids club was really enjoyed by our children and the staff did an efficient job although Princess Cruises tend to have slightly better activities as well as a more vibrant atmosphere. The only thing that was perhaps not as favourable as our other cruises was the food which admittedly was catering to a local taste which was different to ours and therefore not the fault of the ship. Having said that, the curries on board were incredible and actually rivalled some of our favourite restaurants at home!! The strangest things was that we did run into was a small number of people who complained about the ship being too big?!?! These people must be living under a rock as it was advertised as the biggest ship to service the UK... We would highly recommend this ship and we would love to travel on the Britannia again some day. Maybe the Caribbean next time :-)

Cabin Review

Cabin C317
There was enough room in the cabin to accommodate the family and not feel claustrophobic and our cabin attendant could not do enough for us with even providing some welcome balloons which the boys absolutely loved!! The bathroom was well stocked with amenities and quite modern with enough room to assist children at bath time.
