This was my very first cruise, we chose it because it was only 5 days since we didn't know how well we would take to the seas. The Elation is an older ship but I was pleasantly surprised that we only felt sea sickness one night, we apparently hit some stormy waters when venturing from cozumel to progreso. The ship is dated and could use some new decor but was well maintained. The rooms are small but pleasant enough for two people (we had an interior room on the main deck). Cozumel was fun to explore but in progreso we did not venture off the ship, we had heard so many bad reviews we didn't figure it was worth our time. The dining room was wonderful, the staff was amazing (I am actually still in contact with one of our main waiters named Oswin), the food was far better than I imagined. Disembarkment took about an hour but wasn't too chaotic. Overall I had a wonderful time and would recommend this cruise to anyone.
