We chose this cruise so our 18 year old son could join us, and yes there were children on board because it was school holidays!!! The children we saw were well behaved, and having a great time with their families. Royal Caribbeans policy of no children in the nightclub after 10 pm works a treat (P&O take note!!) the staff on board went out of their way to be friendly. The entertainment team were energetic in encouraging people to join in.
We ate in the main dining room on 'my time' dining most evenings, and it was very well organised (P&O take note!!!) Plenty of food choices and wine was served promptly.
Perhaps Royal Caribbean should enforce the sun bed policy a little more sharply, but I only really had a problem on one of the days.
Excellent cabin towards back of deck 2. Perfect location for getting everywhere on the boat.
Expensive, and needs some investment in the old buildings, nice to just have a walk around but nothing outstanding.
Caught the local bus straight outside the port terminal building ( under the bridge) to Magalluf for 3.10€. Lots of buses were full by the time they got to our stop but we were on a bus within 30mins. Walked through Magalluf down to Palma Nova, spent some time on the beach and in the sea, has leisurely food and drinks and headed back to the bus stop. Very easy trip to do on your own.
2€ bus ride to Nice, what a great decision that was when we heard the pandemonium of people who opted to catch the train !!!! Excellent day out for us, rounded of by looking around Villefranche, which is a lovely place without going anywhere else.
Lovely place to walk around.
Cadiz is a lovely place, nice park on the seafront to walk through that brings you out onto a promenade by the sea. We walked for 6 miles and finished off in a lovely square full of street cafes and market stalls - very nice day.
Fantastic city, loved it and cannot wait to return - highly recommended.
