This was an absolutely wonderful cruise for the family. We have been on many cruises and this was by far, the best for kids. Carnival does it right for child safety, allergy awareness, children's programs for all ages. One granddaughter has very special needs and they were accommodated constantly. No less than 5 ship's personnel came to discuss the special needs required. For those that wrote a negative review, I do not understand how. The only thing we found disheartening were the rude passengers. What ever happened to manners and etiquette. Some passengers total disregard for respect was unbelievable. As my parents would say....brought up in a barn! You treat people the way you would like to be treated. There wasn't one instance where ship's employees weren't professional, kind, caring, respectful and absolutely fantastic. Great itinerary but extremely hot in Mexico for summer. I would highly recommend this cruise for a family with children. Because it was summer, there were a LOT of children on board which was great for us since we had 3 kids with us. A cruise is what you make of it...and we had a blast!!! We even loved it so much we didn't go into port one day and stayed on the ship enjoying it's many amenities!

I can't say enough about this room. Hope I'm not letting the cat out of the bag because I want to book this room again. It was perfect for every need we had. Large, very comfortable, huge patio with two lounge chairs, two regular chairs and a table and still had plenty of room for more people. The room itself was upgraded just like a suite including the bathroom which was granite versus the standard bathrooms. Absolutely no elevator noise at all even though it was next to the elevator. Carnival staterooms have to be the most soundproofed rooms we've stayed in. The rooms were spotless, they cleaned constantly.
