We arrived at 1:30 for embarkation to encounter absolute chaos--apparently the sky bridge was out, but there was an absence of communication, exacerbating the frustration. Then when alternative methods for embarkation occurred, there were no lines, just a lot of shoving and pushing--very dangerous.
By then our cabin was ready, so we dropped off hand luggage and explored the ship and had some lunch. Cabins are relatively small, but well designed, especially the bathroom and storage was ample.
The ship itself was beautiful, with wonderful art work. Compared to the Oasis and Allure, it seemed more crowded--primarily because of the design.
Clean with a wonderful stateroom attendant. Small but manageable. Good storage and bathroom
Surprisingly enjoyable city. Had a wonderful tapas lunch--super cheap.
Our shopping port--found some interesting jewelry and scarves there. Relatively crowded and somewhat overpriced.
Southhampton is to be avoided. We stayed there last year for one night and I would advise everyone to avoid staying overnight there--mediocre hotels and restaurants. Stay in London instead and come the day of the cruise instead.
