A Legendary Trip Legend of the Seas October 18-30, 2008 Eastern Mediterranean

My wife and I, along with two other couples, had been planning this trip for two years. It turned out to be everything we wanted it to be and more. We were with good friends, the weather was almost perfect, and the ship exceeded our expectations.

We flew into Rome three days early on Lufthansa via Munich with no problems. We had arranged for Bob's Limo to pick us up at the airport, and they were right on time. While in Rome we stayed at the Townhouse Suite Sunset, 97 Serpenti, a small, clean, modern, comfortable hotel, which was reasonably priced and perfectly located with the Colosseum at the end of the street. True, it was more of a guest house than a full service hotel, but it was perfect in every other way.

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin H

Our cabin was a bit on the small side, but there was adequate storage for everything and it was clean and neat which was what we expected for a ship of this age. The beds were comfortable with upgraded linens.
