This was my first time cruising as an adult, so I don't have anything to compare to but we had a great time. We went to an island every day except the last day was cruising. The islands were gorgeous. The shows on the cruise we liked was the comedian the last night, the ice skating, love and marriage, and quest. The dancing and singing shows were not good! The one dancing/singing show we saw was a vegas type show and we were laughing throughout it b/c it was so bad. We had a great time at the other shows above though. There were not a lot of kids on this ship, which we liked because we wanted a break and relax. There were 2 formal nights. Some people were dressed in suits and some wearing jeans. The music on the ship was wonderful. There was a lot of places you could go to listen to music-schooner bar was piano and karaoke, the lobby had a great band, up on the pool deck was a great Jamaican band, and the pub had a guy on the guitar we liked to listen to. The embarkation was quick and easy; we got right on. We got to the ship early though. We went to San Juan a day early and got to see the sights at night. We ate at a restaurant on top of a hotel called punto de vista-great food and loved the atmosphere. We had breakfast at a quaint and yummy place called Caficultura. Then we toured the forts.

St. Croix-We did Big Beard Snorkeling full day and rode a catamaran out to beautiful Buck island. The snorkeling part, I personally didn't enjoy but my friends did. The waves were way too rough and my goggles would fog up a lot. We stopped at a private beach to eat lunch; unique and fun experience. The boat ride back to St. Criox was a lot of fun. We were singing along with a ukulele and just relaxing. The crew was so friendly and seemed to love their jobs.

St. Maarten-We did not have a excursion planned for this island. We took a taxi to Maho Beach to watch the planes fly over our heads at the beach. That was cool. Don't eat at places near the cruise ship. We ate lunch near cruise ship and waited over an hour, bad service, and people were hounding us about renting jet skis a lot.

Cabin Review

Promenade Stateroom

We liked our cabin and overlooking the promenade. I'm a light sleeper and we were right across from the pub but they stopped playing at 12 or 1, so it didn't affect us because we were up late. We were also so tired from the excursions that we went right to sleep. Our toilet over flowed the last night at 4 am and it eventually stopped, but no one came to help with the water and all on the floor. It was the last day so we had to get up at 6am anyway thankfully. Our cabin attendant was nice and the bed was very comfortable.
