We had a beautiful cabin- but with finger breaking hooks to open drawers. The ship is 2 years old- ample time for management to correct this simple-to-fix defect.
The cuisine was bad, even by Costa standards. We had table 385 in the Gattopardo restaurant. Excellent waiter, a menu set out by its Chef which was sheer poetry. Only the food did not match it. Except for the standard tagliatelle bolognesi , potato puree, and ice cream, almost everything else was substandard. Why employ a real chef when any dishhand would do?
Breakfast at that restaurant was absolutely chaotic. Waiters galore floating around doing nothing and trying to justify their presence. One had to block one to place an order. Chaos at its best.
Excellent, except for those stupid drawer openers.
